Im using a HD7770.... would a gtx 660 (not ti) be a HUGE upgrade, or just a little bit?

Im seeing around 30fps on max settings with my 7770..... i have an FX8120 cpu, about to OC it once i get a heat sink, hoping that ill help me also.

A GTX 660 should be about twice as fast as the 7770 in most games.

BTW, you can simply do some research with google "GTX 660 benchmark" to get the answer yourself.

FX8120 cpu: that is more likely the problem.

Atleast for me my FX4*** @ 5Ghz was.
Had very poor performance with an HD-7950.

Before you do anything though, check your GPU load during those low FPS situations.
If it's low, it could indicate that 'upgrading' your CPU would help you more.

Hello, as already stated a GTX660 would be almost 2x better than 7770 in gaming.

However, what tsuface is saying is also true, as FX cpus have shown to have abysmal performance with GW2.

So, as you can see there's two different things you can upgrade, but take a look here before you upgrade to 660

As you can see a 7770 should be able to handle the game easily at 1920x1080 at highest preset, so I'd recommend to look into replacing your CPU first.
