I have recieved a compaq presorry-o. It runs a 1.47ghz Athlon, 512mb of cheap sdram, and I was wondering. Is there any way to overclock a compaq. I have tried most software programs and because it is a compaq mobo, none work. Is there any way to juice it up or is it hopeless. Mobo is a problem, any solutions??No help from BIOS either...

Well, I believe it's the L7 bridges that are factory set to a certain multiplier, you could try manipulating those connections to come up with a different multiplier.
