I have a download of 15Mbps and upload of 0.50Mbps and 15 ping. Is that fast enough to play wow and how much lag will have?

Sorry I meant 384Kb/s. So in terms of KB/s it was about 48KB/s actual download speed.

With a 15Mb/s connection the download speed is 1.9MB/s.

56Kb/s modems had a top download speed of... wait for it...

7KB/s

Ouch.

You do forget how slow things were just 12 years ago. I remember having a 56Kb/s connection and avoiding sites with pictures on them as you could make a cup of tea in the time it would take for them to download!

I have to remind myself when I am getting annoyed about my ISP's 'slow' upload speed of 3Mb/s!

Yes your internet is fine for playing WoW. What determines your ping will be where you live vs. which server you choose to play on. WoW has East Coast, West Coast, and Central server hubs. The closer you are to the hub on which your server is hosted, the lower your ms will be.

Not sure why this was glossed over in the last several posts.
