Am I the last guy running an OC'd Celeron 300A?

Hi,
I need to upgrade (obviously). I don't have a lot of money (again obviously or why would I still have this system). Could I get advice on what would be the best value CPU/mobo for both AMD and Intel? Also, is the GeForce Ti 4200 video card still the best value for the money? My case is an older SuperMicro SC750 300W. I know the power supply won't work for the P4, but what about the AMD? I'd like to spend less than $500 for everything (I already have a nice monitor). I need it for auto racing games, some of which require very fast hardware. Thanks.

my family still uses their P100..
