What is the best quiet fan available?

I purchased a Noise Control about a year ago, and I've been relatively happy with it. It is exceptionally quiet, but not the best cooler. My father in law is looking to quiet his system down, and his system demands aren't really extreme (how much heat can FreeCell really generate). I'm thinking about giving him my fan, if I can find a better cooling solution (but still quiet) for myself.

I'm running an XP1800, but due to the demands of video editing, I would like to upgrade my processor.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your input,

JCC

Well, I was looking around for the same thing a little while ago when I realised that sometimes I needed extreme cooling, while other times I wanted to, well, sleep in peace and quiet. So I picked-up some Vantec tornado fans and a rheobus, therefore I can control my fan speeds and my temperatures with the turn of a nob. I also modded my case to have a 120mm Sunon fan (109 cfm) above the mainboard, which makes a hell of a difference as well, something you might want to try. Otherwise, PAPST fans are incredible, but slightly expensive. An 80mm fan (40cfm@32db) will run you about $20, and they're harder to find too (but I can get directly from the distributor if you wished). You could always install some sound-dampener like AKASA PAX-MATE for about $20, and some grommets on your fans and Hard Drives...
