Incoming faxes on multiple modems?

Have a client who's single fax machine is getting overwhelmed with
incoming faxes. I suggested a roll-over line to their
copier/printer/fax/potato-maker, but I'm not sure they were listening.
Anyhow, I had a thought...

Take their existing Windows 2000/XP Pro paging PC (currently 2000, but
we could upgrade), install a multi-modem card (ie Multitech
ISI5634UPCI/4), and tell it to print all incoming faxes to a network
printer.

Now comes the hitch in that plan.... Can the built in faxing in
2000/XP handle answering simultanious incoming faxes? If not, is
there reasonably priced third party fax software that can handle
simultanious incoming faxes?
