Anyone have an Intel OC FAQ/Guide? I've looked around and can't find much of value.

What I am really looking for here is a generic sort of step by (i.e., first mess with the FSB, then the voltage, then multiplier) with some good advice and warnings. I have a P4 2.4B that I am looking to charge up, and have only messed with AMDs.

well basically :

Increase FSB until system becomes unstable.
Increase Voltage until stable again
Increase FSB further...

not much else to say apart from watch temps, make sure that your ram speeds stays within spec, take your time and include thougher testing. And there is no way to unlock a PIV so that is one less worry, ie no changing the multipler !

Tim

ps: I have pushed a PIV 2.4B to 2.8 very easily, the system was completely stable and would have had room to play had it not been on a poor motherboard (Asus P4S8X)
