Help!

I have a VX-10 and I used to use it while traveling in my motorhome to
access "Q2N" at 14.4k. I've changed computers since then and nothing seems
to work like it did... So after reading some stuff on the internet, I
called VZN and talked to them. They told me that 1. My phone is capable of
the "new" higher speeds in the "National Access," and 2. that I MUST get a
Mobile Office Kit in order to do that. A couple of years ago, folks here
helped me figure out how to download the Prolific USB to Serial driver and
some other software so I didn't have to buy the old MOK. I am wondering if
there is a site where I can download the new stuff that I need?????

I told Verizon I'd buy the Mobile Office Kit, but then they told me that
they no longer carried the one that I need for my phone! Of course, since
my contract is over, they promptly offered to get me new equipment in return
for a new 2 yr commitment. She was helpful in telling me that I need the
Mobile Office Kit that has a SKU of 91090 for my VX-10.

Any other options?
Thanks,

Brad

I found a great group on Yahoo that directed me to the files I needed and
even an instructional file or two. As usual, I didn't get the true and
complete story form the Verizon Tech person....

I got it working like a charm late last night. Didn't really make sense to
me if I already had the cord, as to why I'd need some special "kit."

Thanks for the help anyway...

was worth the time to set up an account!!!
