A7N8X Deluxe, AMD XP2600+ and Swiftech MCX462-U???

Greetings!

I am currently running an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with an Athlon 1.4. I will be upgrading shortly to the XP2600+ 333MHz. Will the Swiftech MCX462-U fit on this mobo? From what I have seen it is one of the better heatsinks, if anyone has any other suggestions for this setup feel free to suggest away (especially if you have 1st hand experience with this mobo, cpu and/or heatsink!

I will not be overclocking!

well I've got the MCX-462 on a standard A7N8X, so I'll say yes it should fit. I don't think there is any difference between the two boards.


Save heating costs on your home, overclock your PC!!!

Yes it will, but if you don't plan to OC you can also use the stock fan that comes with a retail AMD CPU.

My PC eats so much money that I'm in 'desperate' need of it to buy PC3500 RAM, help Svol with his OC project!
