don't know if this would belong here but i just installed windows 7 about 2 weeks ago. i dual booted with xp used gparted to create another partition and installed win7. everything works fine its just when i access the other partition the one with xp on it the hard drive makes one click noise. like i have music on the xp partition and i open foobar2000 it will click once. i can still access everything on the xp partition and it doesn't make another noise after it does it once. it only happens when i start windows 7 and access anything on the xp partition but it does it once and the rest of the day is fine until i restart or shutdown and start again. there is no other noise from the hard drive no grinding whining or anything just that one noise and then it's fine.
