Hello,
I have 2 500GB HDDs in my laptop. I had Windows installed on one, swapped the two HDDs in the bays and then put Windows on the other one too. Now I formatted what was originally the second drive. This is giving me the BOOTMGR issue. I believe it's because it's looking on the second (formatted) drive for it. I've tried getting into the Recovery Console via the installation CD, but the option isn't showing up. Any tips?

It looks as if you deleted the recovery partition as well during the formatting process.
Do you have a set of recovery disks made that you can use to restore to factory settings?
Did it come with W7 installed or did you buy a W7 upgrade disk that you can use to fix the bootloader.
