The i850E is a WHOLE lot faster than the i845E, when used with PC1066 RDRAM. In fact, there is no faster chipset for the P4 than the i850E with PC1066. None. If you look at benchmarks, the i850E is the basis by which all other P4 chipsets are measured. In fact, when certain companies that hate RAMBUS want to discredit them, they use the i850E with old PC800 in order to slow it down, to compare other chipsets using DDR.

Oh yes, they are supposed to be entering the market right now, with the new stepping at full production by the end of the month.
