I'm planning on getting the Antec PlusView 1000 AMG PC Case, but wondering if there are any better 80mm fans to get out there in the market that are possibly quieter and still very efficient? or should i just stick with the retail ones.

Overclocking? If not they should be fine. Not sure about that particular case, but the 1080s have a special PSU cable for 2-3 case fans, and the PSU fan with these are speed controlled according to temperature.

That way idling = quiet etc.

is there much difference b/t the 1000AMG and teh 1080? i just like the feature of the clear side panel..which the 1080 doesn't seem to have. yea i'll be OCin

Dunno about the diffs. Check em out at their site.

If you're overclocking, and it's that kind of PSU mentioned before, those fans will speed up to match the CPU / case temperatures.

All adds up to more noise, so you need to decide what you want to sacrifice.

Well ive studied and compared quiet a number of "quiet" fans, and by far the best performing quiet fan would have to be the 2000rpm panaflo.
They make excellent casefans as they move a decent amount of air jet are virtually silent.

Something to consider if the fans in your case seem too noisy.
