I've only got about 600. Oddly enough, I was working on increasing that when I saw this. Need to put a new CD together for the car.

A while back i found huge songlists of all the popular songs from the 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's... 2000 or more. i was in the process of finding and leeching them all.
A LOOOONG job.

That's just my music stuff... doesn't include any funny snl stuff or the like.
I found a list of the top 1000 classic rock songs of all time, and I've got most of the top 500 down already.

Darn, I only have 2387 of them. Not including vidoes or movies of course. And everytime I listen to the music, I think of like 5 to 10 more I want. Like right now, I realized I don't have any Doobie Brothers (when I said listen to the music it remided me of them).

You people are SICK!
I bet 1/4rth of them, you don't even know about!
I just can't imagine how that much can end up on your playlist. Think of the day the drive caputs.

Yeah me too!
I can't honestly imagine being able to find so many as they do, it just doesn't make sense you know them all one by one.

I know every song on my computer, have them organized and rated.
I can also do better than a radio station. If you listen to a radio station, you always here the same crap over and over again. I can go for a week and never have the same song play twice. I quit listening to the radio a long time ago. Nothing beats Led Zeppelin anyways.

Treat your body like a $600 car. God didn't intend it to last so use it. Run it into the ground!
Really? I also use Winamp 2.91 and it has it.
Look at the botom of the playlist editor there you will see a button called MISC... the options is under that button.

What's wrong?
This collection is nothing compared to what a friend of mine has... he gots more then 10k MP3s. But he uses that PC for his Drive-In show.
My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole
Found it. You have to double click on Misc.

svol, your playlist looks entirely too close to what mine looks like......
Of course you don't have enough Led Zeppelin, but not everybody is perfect. Nice to see somebody else out there with good music.
As I look at your playlist, I can't help inserting songs every second that I would have (like you have no STYX, and only one George Thuroughgood ect.).
Whats with all the Golden Earing BTW? Radar Love was about the only song of there I really liked...

The Golden Earring are a Dutch band so it was easy for me to lend some CDs of them... they're kinda populair here.
But if you want to recommend some great songs feel free... I'm always searching for more good music.
My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole
Look closely... after the first click the MISC button changes into an OPT button, a very tricky function of Winamp.

WTF!!! Where did my post go?
Anyways...close to 300 "only quality" songs. ..rest crap on cds.
You guys will die laughing at one of my playlists.

Got about 800 total, from my downloaded and my 34 albums. I can fit about 300 wma's on an MP3 CD which I play on my Rio Volt SP250. I have all 800 songs on 3 CD-RW's (700meg flavor). That's awsome, and I only payed $99 U.S. for the Rio Volt CD Player.

I deleted the post since I don't think that's right. Winamp is only recognizing 5600 songs. Maybe it's the album covers that are throwing things off, but not by thousands.

My friend's 2.4GHZ has trouble loading the playlist fast over 12.8Gigs!

It takes a very long time. Especially in windows media player. I like WMP though since it finds the cd covers and my mp3 folder is all pretty

The highest I've ever gotten to was 46 songs in my WinAMP 2!
There is always an amount that disappears letting new ones in, since I get bored if I hear something too often. The only survivor after over 6 months, has been Avril Lavigne lol. Only her has survived the test of time. But other than that, I'll be happy if I ever cross 100. I'm still tryin'!
It's so hard.

im just joking, im not calling anyone a theif, i was napster user before it was shutdown and for awhile i use a program call Gnucleus, ive used a couple others also. Out of all of them, napster has been the easiest to use.
anyone have any suggestions, one without Spyware.
All mine are legal.

Sure Uh-Huh ok i belive ya, all 8566 of them???
im just joking, i dont care if legal or not
Actually 8,689 of them.

ok i only have 600+ LEGAL SONGS.
from about 45 CDS that i own, i am against Music downloading, and if theres a song i want, then i will GO WITHOUT untill i have some money.
there are about 50 CDS that i wish i had, but hey i am a poor student.
Alltaken
All mine are legal. I have 1000 cd's as of yesterday. Honest.
<A HREF="http://forums.btvillarin.com/index.php?act=ST&f=41&t=389&s=1fee5dab901bebe29da7aa1c2658fc6f" target="_new"><font color=red>dhlucke's system</font color=red></A>
<font color=blue>GOD</font color=blue> <font color=red>BLESS</font color=red> <font color=blue>AMERICA</font color=blue>
that is belivable.
i knew a guy with his cd collection insured for $25,000 so 1000 cds doesn't by any means mean they are all illegal.
i think this guy had 1700 cd's or somthing (can't remember maybe it was way more) it was a bookshelf floor to about shoulder height 2 deep with cds and about 6 feet accross.
it was pretty damn coka block.
anyway he said him insuring it at that price was actually less then what it would cost to replace them all. it was pretty mental. i think replacment would have been about $40,000
Alltaken
And you wonder how with such an insane amount of MP3s? He should split his playlist in several small ones according to type of music.

Interesting... I'm going to use that list to find some new music.
