After reading that, imagine a MCX462 or MCX4000 where every single pin sticking out the copper block is actually a heatpipe! That kind of cooling would rival watercooling.

Wow, that would be great! now, where can we find some of those pins to try it out? Im thinking even just a fw of them in the center of the heasink instead of the spiral pins would be great.

unfortunately its only experimental at this stage. some day they might be able to made on a mass scale. Will make for some uber nice coolers, both for laptops, desktops and other assorted tasks.
