RE: Coolermaster Copper Memory Heat Sink Cooler CRC-U01

This might be a bit of a divy question to ask but...

These hsinks are RAM chip sized and therefore to large without cuting to fit BGA memmory.

On the specs coolermaster say that it should'nt be used on chips smaller than the heatsinks are.

My question is that if it does overlap the mem chip but doesn't get the the way so what...???

Don't understand why they make a point of saying it unless theres something else I'm not getting.

My RAMsinks are twice as big as my RAM with no problems... just make sure they don't touch any other components and you will be fine.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dimms when I turn it on

I can't think of any reason other than they probably have something else they are trying to sell you instead.

Did'nt think so either thanks for the reply.

These are just so much cheaper than the shiny tweakmonster ones.

But I think I'll take the dremmel to them to make the fins more pronounced.
