Is there a way through the bios (or other non-destructive means) to increase
the ram memory capacity of a Compaq Presario 1255? In other words can a
256mb ram expansion be made to work?
The manufacturer's stated max is 160mb.

I would think that you'd be stuck at 160MB. Very few, if any, 256MB PC66
SODIMMs were ever made... Ben Myers
