Numeric filenames

For various reasons, I have to reinstall Windows.

However, when I try to run the setup.exe it says that Windows has to be able to create filenames with numeric tails "the ~1 thing in dos mainly"
My problem is that this is disabled and I don't know how to enable it!

Please help!

I'm not sure I understand the problem, but try this:

Go to "My Computer" and right click on it. Go to "properties", then go to "performance", then "file system" and click the "troubleshooting" tab. The option to renable it is in there. =)
