Remapping Controller Buttons

First of all, I apologize if this is the wrong section, mods please feel free to move it to the correct section.

So I recently purchased a PS3 style controller by Enter to play Dark Souls on my PC. The only problem I have is that the Start button and R3 button for the controller seem to be swapped, not just for Dark Souls, but for other games as well. I want to know if there's any program that lets me remap the controller buttons or just some .ini files I can set this up in.

And if possible, I'd also like to know if there's a way to just switch the buttons for Dark Souls through some .ini files.

I'd rather not have to buy some software just to remap two buttons on my gamepad.

Download JoytoKey for free and map the game's keyboard controls to your controller how you wish, if the options menu doesn't have a way to rebind buttons. I've played the game but I just can't remember how deep the options were.
