Coolest New Water Cooler for 3.06GH CPU(BothAMD-P4

Seen them. They have an aluminium waterblock and a very small radiator so wont perform as good as watercooling. They are very large too. I rather use normal watercooling.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dimms when I turn it on

Think it is worth the cash, I mean you could pick up an Alpha or Swiftech for that price with a fan. Kinda curious about it as I posted a link to the 1coolpc version of that on sale for 60 bucks. Might just pick one up and try it out.

Anyone seen a reiview of it?

another thing I noticed, if the radiator is on top of the fan, why do they have the fan blowing cool air away from the radiator. Wouldn't you want to blow it towards the radiator to cool the coolant?? Just curious.

Only worth it if it comes with the girl... I already have a water cooling setup that I got used (from the classified forum) and a Swifteck MCXC-370 heatsink w/ 80mm 3000rpm fan. Both would outperform this, and the swiftech block cost 35 bucks a year ago.

And truth be told, I paid not much more for my water setup as that one.

guess my question would be, do you think it will outperform a standard aircooling setup?? I don't wanna go and get all the junk for a standard watercooling setup if I would only need this, just kinda curious to see comparisons to the big honking aircooling setups. I realize it won't outperform a standard watercooling setup.

It might be too tall at that point. If it is too tall, the amount of leverage on the socket can stress too much. But that is not a problem for the socket here, as it mounts to the mobo. But it would still prove to be pretty tall.

what does being tall have to do with keeping your cpu cool?? If it mounts to the MB then stress isn't a problem... Wonder if anyone actual owns one of these as I'm getting itchy with my credit card, at least I can give some sort of review of the thing. Wanna see how high my 1ghz AXIA athlon can really go... post at 1.45gz 145x10 with my Iwill KK266 and normal memory settings, runs fairly hot at idle though 40C... with a Volcano 7, stock, with the probe jammed down the heatsink. Lapped it pretty good first.

Just want cooler and quieter without all the hassle of setting up a water cooling system. I know, I know. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Tall has nothing to do with cooling, but some cases dont have that clearence, and it is still unneeded stress even for a motherboard mount.

I wouldnt trust something too tall to sit in there, but thats me.

And a water cooler setup isnt too hard to do, if you really want simple, check out the Koolance EXOS system, its easy to install, but it is expensive.

I would also wait for a comparison review of the cooler, to see how it stacks up against other air coolers.
