Is my XP2400 too hot?

I'm running a standard (no o/c) XP2400 on an MSI KT4V board and i'm concerned that its running too hot at around 55C when i'm gaming. Cos i want a quiet PC i have Zalman Copper flower on the CPU plus 2 other fans in the case.

Can i trust the on-board temp sensor - should i be worried?

A temp of 55C at full load isn't anything to worry about, unless your PC is unstable.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dimms when I turn it on
