i've actually heard bad about the coolermaster, and i've got an aeroflow and am pretty satisfied with it (except that its a *little* loud, but nonetheless i want total peace and quiet). I've got an Athlon XP 1600 @ 1.4 that runs at 29*C on idle, and about 36*C when under load... I've even forgotten to plug in the fan and it only hit 50*C on idle... so if you're looking for a good lower-priced solution, its you're best choice... also looks pretty cool, heheh

I bought the L61. The 14 cfm just didnt cut it. I replaced it with a Delta 7200 rpm on a fan bus throttled down to around 4200 rpm. Very low noise and temps at 42c cpu (it goes up to 44c after running Sandra for 30 minutes)and 33c ambient. This is on a XP2100 cpu.

I liked the looks and reviews of the heatsink. It's working fine for me

Gee, I can't seem to find any review that says the Volcano is "much better" than the Coolermaster. I found reviews that say the Volcano is slightly better and reviews that say the Volcano is slightly worse.

Opinions ... !

Oh just go and get one!
If your not overclocking then its not going to matter if the cpu is 45C or 50C.

If you are going to overclock then its probably best to ignore the middle range and get the best thing you can lay your hands on.

but volcano 7+ is a bit too loud, i've installed one for my friend a while ago, i can adjust the fan speed, but at lower speed, it degrades its cooling performance, i think i'll just go for the Aeroflow, i've read good reviews about them. thanx guys
