Eyefinity and skyrim

Hello, was mindlessly looking into eyefinity setups and found that 2 of my monitors could do it. so i set everything up and after a bit of experimenting i was playing civ 5. later i tried skyrim and had to set the resolution in the skyrim launcher but it worked. i fiddled around with hydra and then went back to all extended desktops. later i went back to the eyefinty setup and could play civ but when i went to skyrim the resolution could not be selected. i disabled hydra and then the bezel comp. and still nothing. i even went back to a restore point i had made on the day that skyrim worked, nothing. i have yet to mod or patch skyrim and have made no modifications to the setup(which is what i thought i did the 1st time). i went into the skyrimprefs and manually set the resolution and still nothing. all the resolutions it shows in the launcher are all single display sizes but only show up when i have show all resolutions on. window mode makes no differnts. these are the only monitors that are hooked up. i have restarted the computer and what not. any ideas? (and i know that i will have to get a mod for the menu issue, but right now i just want it working again)
