I traded my ipaq for a kyrotech phase change cooler! It doesnt come with the case or the mounting clip but it works perfectly, I'll finally have something to do this summer. I get to freeze my cpu! Hello 2ghz!

Holy Jesus, and I thought you actually loved your pocket PC. You always preached about it...

Oh well, still, Phase Change, that is pretty impressive for such trade!

yeah for a phase change unit I'd give up my mother. lol I'll get a new ppc for much less than I could buy a phase change unit.

kryotech units are the things that power vapochill systems, I just get the cooling unit, no case. I'll try to put some pics up if I can find my site info, I lost it in the last format.

Interesting, you say you got it for $150? I'm considering an upgrade this Christmas (the sick one I ben talking about- 14K to spend on it) so perhaps such a cooler would be in order:) How'd you arrange for just the cooler and not tha case?

I traded my ipaq pocket pc that I payed 150 for for the cooling unit with a guy on the gideontech forums. I can't wait to start this mod, I'm thinking I'll gut a micro itx case and see if I can't fit the unit on that to be placed on top of my chieftec case, drill the holes for the hose and mount a temp display on the itx case... I don't think I could fit it inside my chieftec case...maybe I could, but would I want to? well I'll have to play with it for a bit this is going to be fun! I haven't had a big project like this in some time!

Hehe, good luck! Any other methods of buying such a cooler alone (I'm not very trusting of trades/ buying used stuff).
