Hi all

First post here, I have an xp2200+ on an epox 8k3a+ board. The FSB is up to 141MHz and the core voltage is unchanged from default. Can't go any higher on combinations of voltage increase/fsb increase without sacrificing stability.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips or is this as far as i can go? I have a fairly good case and heatsink fan setup.

Thanks

It could be that you reached the max of that CPU... the XP2200+ is a bad overclocker.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dims when I turn it on

Thanks, yup i was afraid that might be it. I'm setting up some water cooling which may get me a bit extra!

Cheers

Would my processor be unlocked by default? Is the easiest way to find out to just lower the multiplier and see if the clock speed goes down? Thanks.

Well your CPU will be unlocked for multipliers from 13x and above. For multipliers below 12.5x you have to close the last L3 bridge IIRC.
