I can't get the dam thing over 2.15GHZ not matter what i do... if i up the fsb it maxes at 12.5*180 or 133*16 anything higher = not boot... im running it at 12.5*180 with a vtage of 1.75 if i go higher it doesn't help why did i get a f*cked up core...

What cooling are you using? You could be one of the unlucky ones that got a bad OC T-bredB core.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dims when I turn it on

Mine isn't great either.I am using a volcano 7+ too.Currently i am at 166X13 @ 1.725 vcore. It can run at 166X13.5 @ 1.75 fairly stably but not quite stably enough for my liking.I am using ddr333 so i can't put the fsb much higher, although it is cas2 so i could probably go higher at cas 2.5.Problem is it already needs quite a vcore increase just to get to 2167 so i don't think it will go much further on air cooling.

no matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. :]

Well to be honest with that amount of fans your full speed temps are on the high side. You're sure your fans are placed properly so they have a positive result on your temps?

i agree, those temps are too high for that amount of cooling
is the paste real thin, heatsink seated evenly etc?
what speed do you have the HSF fan on? if it's on Low then those temps are CONCEIVABLE, but not probable nonetheless
i'd redo my heatsink setup

well give the high overclock a go anyway with the fan set on medium or high.

if that still fails then its likely that you just havnt got a good overclocking chip.
thats life. nothing beyond stock is guaranteed.

Another thing: you might have better luck at 200*11=2200, as it is very likely that the PCI bus speed is way off at 180. Even with an auto divider, there is no even divider at 180 MHz.

my motherboad has a locked pci divder besides i have no pci cards... but i gues the onboard sound is still on the pci buss? Well i get system instabliity when i up the buss past 186 or so so i clocked it even at 180...

I think the NForce2's all do the auto divider not a fixed divider. That's why I said 200, the auto divider will be at 6. If you tried it at 200X10 you could verify it wasn't the processor itself holding you back if it still isn't working since that is slower than you are running it now. If the thing still aint working you may be overheating the northbridge or running the mem too fast which will also stop you in your ocing tracks.

12.5 x 180 = 2250.

You can use XP2400+ on KT133 mobos. If you set the multiplier to 12.5 it will remap to 20x.

p.s. Sorry to hear about AS3 mishap. Another reason I still like silcone grease.
