And it has disgustingly bad performance and noise to boot! Kudos to the idiots that buy this "self contained" system for your CPU cooling

Instead of Rdram, why not just merge 4 Sdram channels...

Just goes to show you that if you want good water cooling, you are going to have to do the work and install good water cooling.

I dont think any of these are going to work, there is just not enough time for the water to cool off. I think if you coupled either of those 2 in 1 coolers with a resivoir, it would do at least 50% better. Then again, thats a guess.

Oh my... what a wonderful way to separate you from your money.

How do they get sufficient airflow through that radiator with the fan stacked on top of the water pump?

Besides, I'm not sure I'd want something that heavy, filled with water, hanging off a vertically mounted motherboard.

Indeed... makes one wonder who the sod they are designed and made... surely someone along the line would have tested it compared to some other decent air cooler???

boggles me mind it does.

And yeah, i noticed that too... the fan has nowhere to draw air from! a fan ontop would be far better methinks!

I saw this thing reviewed somewhere else and they actually are instructions for moving the fan! Still didn't work worth crap though.

Both reviews I've read said that normal heatsinks worked as well if not better.

What a piece of junk. Its such a good idea though, self contained watercooling, if only someone could get it to work (and it were physically possible).

hmmm. if i were to make a self contained cooling unit.

A. it would be big... big as possible.
B. defiately be mounted via the 4 through mobo mounts.
C. a big hollow copper block
D. pump sitting atop copperblock
E. large AND DEEP 80mm or 92mm square cooling eliment with a 80mm or 92mm fan atop, pushing air down over the cooler core, pump and block.

even so i cant see it being much better than a mcx-462 or sk800. real water cooling has a relitavely huge radiator and the waterflow is significant... move the heat away quickly and make sure it doesnt come back.
