I got the idea for this thread from <A HREF="http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=bd3d7ae6c8a636fbc9966386c139dd40&threadid=88189" target="_new">here</A>.

Sometime ago, my pinky slipped in an old 386 case while I was switching power switches over, and I felt a rather nasty jolt! I am a believe in leaving the PSU plugged into the wall, for earthing purposes, so that's how the shock came about :frown: .

I've been shocked several times but never I had any problems.

I started getting shocks from my old comp in it's last days and it was sooo damn irritating.

You ever stick your finger in a light bulb socket as a kid? Feels awesome. You should go do it now. When I was a kid me and friends would just sit around seeing who could hold their finger in there the longest. Being stupid is funny.

I got shocked doing a little electrical in my house. Turned off wrong circuit from the breaker box. It's nifty. I'm told that 110v can kill your ass, but maybe not...

Lol, at camp we have one of those super powerful electric lanterns so we unscrew the top and connect the two poles w/ our fingers and see who lasts the longest. Currently I have the record. We tried forming a chain but it didn't work too well tho. hehe. My grandma's gotten shocked by 220v, she went flying back but was ok.

was wierd because it was like i was glued to it. coudlnt pull away. just stood there doing this wierd dance

rofl funny now tat i think of it. coulda been worse, could died but it didnt hurt that bad

I was spinning an Aircraft Magneto by hand, and my pinky slipped and rubbed against one of the plug leads, and sent a big shock through my arm. It hurt for like 10 minutes, and was all stiff and stuff.

hehe unless you can see the electric burns you haven't felt anything yet. I had a psu unplugged for a week, took it apart to change fans and dropped the screw driver in the capacitors. There was still some juice in there! lots of it...

We used to practice taking shocks from those little hand held tazers. It hurts so damn bad.

maybe you guys havent seen rappers or the mentality they have? everything is about money and looks to them. driving around in their "pimped up" cars. BLING BLING YO. just makes me mad because all they sing about is the most meaningless shallow crap. they promote violence and crime.





teh thread in my siggy shows how VAIN they are. the guy standing in the mirror lookin sexy with the gun is basically what they are all about.

i dont mind 2pac or any rappers who sing about real things, like racism, or poverty, or overcoming obstacles.

but 50cent is a complete loser. they all sing about how they are filthy rich from the CDs you buy. practically laughing at you. and the music videos anger me too, heres the recipe:

get a porche or a lamborghini, rent 100,000$ worth of chains and jewellry, get about 15 women who are wearing only enough clothes to not be banned from TV and ther you go. instant rap video. instant money. and the audeince are suckers for it too i cant believe the mindlessness of it all and people suck it up and dish out money for it.

100% with you on that one. Been a long time since rappers sang about real issues (Public Enemy being the best). Now it's all about how much champagne they can drink, how many chicks they can cop off with and how rich they are. Why don't they all start a war with each other and just shoot themselves. Wouldn't exactly be a great loss to the world.

Public Enemy were very good, they brought rap well above the level of that dreadful half-singing 80's shite (remember that 'rap' that Wham did?). And they dealt with gritty issues.

Grandmaster Flash was half-good too, but again the rapping was very very basic. Liked his gear though.

Yeah, they were OK. I like some of it, but lots of the stuff just really sucks, though.

Anybody surprised that rappers are spending so much time being actors these days? I'm not. They act like musicians all the time.
