3.06 Normal Operating Temp.

What is the normal operating temperature of the Intel 3.06 ghz CPU? Also what is the maximum safe operating temp? Mine is typically at 127-129 F. but has gone up to 156 F. at times.

Its a little warm, but if the stock cooler is on ok and the case decently ventilated it should be fine.

Question: have you noticed it crashing or slowing down at all? If not, dont worry about it.

whether or not its slowing the system down or not thats a little hot, and guaranteed to kill some life off of your cpu - poobaa, "ack" is right... i mean the ratings on those is 90*C i think, but still

Using the standard issue from Intel that came boxed with the CPU. I've decided I need to upgrade. The Thermaltake Spark 7 looks like a decent choice.
