First of all, I don't care if anyone posts what results they get with A DIFFERENT VIDEO CARD.

Currently my settings are on BF3's auto

My specs are
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel i7 870 @ 2.93 GHz not overclocked
16 gb ram
GTX 550 Ti 1gb not over clocked
SATA HDD

My PC is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M80

And i get 25 - 35 FPS

Which settings do I tweak? I REALLY want to make bf3 look as good as possible
But i think ill play better with atleast no lower than 30 FPS. Thanks.

PS I just bought a liquid cooler for my processor so i might over clock. But is this situation even a CPU bottleneck?
I am not overclocking my video card

1920 x 1200 (desktop) and 1920 x 1080 in game.

Right now I use my auto settings except I turned everything to medium ( all previously on high) and I turned HBAO into SSAO I now get 30-35 FPS often reaching 40 already, HBAO being the biggest contributor. I wanna know which settings can be lowered to increase performance with the least noticable effect on gaming experience (Basically the least effect on making it look uglier)

I can't speak for 1080 but I had one on 900p (1600x900) and I played bf3 at relatively high settings. I think most of the first settings like meshes, terrain, textures and so forth at around high or ultra. No MSAA, post AA at 2x, AF off (? I think ?). And no AO. Never dropped below 45fps.
