Please tell me everything about overclocking this graphics card. How dose it differ from Radeon 9700 pro.

It's clocked a little slower, and it's BIOS has a clock generator lock to prevent overclocking. Some people are hacking the BIOS to allow overclocking.

Please explain this BIOS hack for the 9700NP. It is foolproof or kinda iffy like that 9500Pro>9700Pro hack?

Maybe I can save some more money this way instead of getting the 9700Pro

Almost, if the bios update fails you can still boot on a PCI card and flash your bios back to the old version.
