I think I properly closed the bridges on my XP1800 Palamino, the bios on my A7N8X Deluxe shows me the other multipliers, and will let me step down as low as 666mhz, but, that is accomplished by choosing a multiplier of 13, where stock is 11.5. WCPUID confirms the lower multipliers, but won't show any multipliers above 11.5. Even if I choose 12.5, which the bios seems to be OK with. And both the BIOS and WCPUID still show it as an 1800. I was under the assumption that if you could manipulate the CPU speed at all through the multipliers, the CPU was therefore unlocked. Exactly how ignorant am I?

Anyone?

Ignorance is bliss, and i'm a happy guy!

It is known that in some cases with a not 100% succesfull unlock you only can select the lower multipliers and don't raise them. So I suggest you measure with a multi-meter if the bridges are properly closed.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dims when I turn it on
