P4/2.4 normal temp?

What would the normal CPU and mainboard temp readings for a non-OC P4/2.4/533? I just finished a new system with an Asus P4S533 mainboard, and more fans than I knew what to do with in a fairly decent sized case. The PC-Probe temp monitor reports 36C (96F) for CPU and 34C (93F) for the mainboard. I had read dire predictions of heat for P4's so I went a bit overboard (Antec TruePower 330 with 2 fans, a pair of Antec case fans, the CPU fan, the video card has one, and just to keep things happy, an Antec hard drive cooler since the WDC drive does get a bit warm). The drive cooler's sensors report about 78-80F in the case and the hard drive.

Any locations where one can find 'typical' temps?

Thanks,

ST

well usually the temps you would wish to keep your eye on is the cpu (of which your temps are fine), the case or ambient temps, as well as the graphics processor temps (which should stay within the same range of the cpu's).

yeah 36C is fine. it's normal or even low. i'm assuming those are idle temps, because if they're at load then you've got a great cooling system. at load you'll still be fine, however. you'll probably hit 45C load
i don't know of any locations where you can find typical temps =/
but you don't need them, you're fine

Is your volcano 7+ on low medium or high?
medium and especially high speed is an obnoxious noise!
