Can anyone please tell me about their overclocking experiences with a 9500 pro? I'm planning on swapping out my ti4200 which runs at 300/600. i like the look of the 9500 pros performance when enabling AA and AF.
Thanks in advance

I am running a 9500 pro, o/c'd to 342 on core and 321(642) on memory. I am currently using a Zalman passive cooler and the card is very stable. I have an AMD 2400+ running at 2214 (12.5 x 178) and 1GB Corsair XMS 3200 RAM. My 3dMark 2001 se scores are around 13500. I love the card, and it runs great o/c'd.

hey monkey,

I bought a sapphire atlantis radeon 9500 Pro; it wouldn't overclock at first, so I found warp11's bios and what he did to it, i tried to do it with my own bios but it didn't work, so I just used his bios and it worked perfectly! well so far I've taken it to 350 core from 275, and up to 315 memory from 270. that is with the standard ATi black cooler fan, and nothing on the ram chips, so good luck I'm sure you'll enjoy :p

thanks for the input.
I think it has got to be worth the swap personally.
dunno... might wait a little while to see if the 9800 brings the 9700 down in price enough.

Thanks again !

Rah,

Can I inquire as to how you cool your o/c'd Athlon 2400? I have a 2400 overclock to 2200 with 200fsb X 11. Currently I cant keep it cooled enough in 3d games no matter what I try.... Let me know.
