Hello,
I recently bought black ops 2 for the pc and I am having trouble getting the game to run on a smooth 60 fps on higher than 800x 600 resolution. my native resolution 1920x1080. it will drop randomly when aiming to 30 fps even if I have everything turned off like shadows and anti-analyzing. I have a good computer and I don't know why I have to play on such low settings. my specs are: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit GeForce GT 630 Video RAM 3.9 GB

its not a laptop its a acer predator gaming desktop
I don't think they make laptops with 7 cores at 3.4

Sorry, but the problem is your graphics card - the GT 630 is a low end card, and Black Ops II needs a decent GPU - take a look at this website's 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops II Graphics Performance, Benchmarked' article for more information.

you are forgetting most charts test to 30fps and on low settings and resolution.

there are motherboards on the market with better.

thats only a £50 graphics card of course it is going to struggle with the latest games on anything other than low settings

you got swindled mate if you think its an awsome gaming pc, seems to be very badly balanced

haha that is such bullshit. there is absolute ZERO possible chance you could be getting a smooth 60 fps at 1080p with a GT630 - i'm sorry, but it's just not feasible.

if somehow you are telling the truth, i still wouldn't believe it until i saw it in person or at least a video/picture to prove.

BLOPS2 is just not cpu intensive enough to solely rely on your i7 - it needs GPU support from an AT LEAST MID RANGE card to get medium settings to play at 60 fps on 1080p.
