internet not working when i ....

K i have dsl and i have one of those splitters where u connect the dsl line into the jack AND your phone line, so i took the phone line last night and then this morning when i plugged it back in my dsl connection died. i went through the wizard to create an internet connection and still nothing. i took OUT the phone line from the splitter and it worked! so whats going on i want to plug in my phone line back in.

Try rebooting the router (are you using a router?). Why did you remove the phone line from the filter in the first place?
