Just to help you guys out a bit.

My last headset was Logitech G930 (It broke so now I need a new headset)
I want surround sound.
I have an inbuilt soundcard in my motherboard(ASUS P8Z77-V PRO)
I want wireless(if possible)
Good mic quality
and just nice looking nice feeling headset.
BTW I dont like the razer headsets

Some headsets I have been looking at are:
-Astro a40/a50
-Tritton 720+/Pro+/ax180
-Roccat Kave
-Cyborg F.R.E.Q 5

I'm not sure what other criteria i want.

Thank you so much
Kind regards, Matthew

Out of those the astro's are the best although a good soundcard and headphones with a separate mike is always the better option for less money.

whats broken on your g930... if its the usb dongle then it will cost £10 to buy a replacement... check the logitech site as everything from the battery to the base station is about £10.
if its less than 2 years ol logitech will replace the actual headset free of charge.

It wont charge, theres a connection problem in the actual headset (not the battery) Logitech put the money back in my account, I went ahead and bought a pair of Astro a40's so :D
