Inserted FIFA 12 pc cannot create Origin account

Inserted the FIFA 12 on my laptop. It creates the Origin icon and I created a 14-digit alpha-numeric ID and a 12-digit A/N password and entered my email. Then when it asks me to enter that info, it says it does not exist. Can you help?
