Does anyone here have any experience with the Vantec (Aeroflow???) with the TMD fan (The one with the copper core and weird fins? My local computer store (pyrinex) has these retail new for $21. Are they any good? Thank you.

eBay, kick ass!

well i've got one on my Athlon XP 1600@1.4GHz (Palamino core) and it runs idle at about 37*C and at about 41/42*C under load (though i do have a 120mm fan kinda right above it and a Vantec Tornado for an exhaust)... remember, my CPU puts out about 65Watts of thermal energy, so the heatsink does a pretty good job of dissipating it, andif you've got anything up to a Barton 2500 you're set with this heatsink, though it being "quiet" isn't too true in my opinion (mind-you, when you have to sleep with it on nothing is quiet), and the TMD fan is kinda crappy in my opinion... well, for the price its a good buy, and if you're not overclocking or looking for anything overly special you've hit the right heatsink
