I was wondering would it be worth it to get 3200 level ram if if using a amd 2100+ xp to o/c or would I just be wasting money and be better off to go with 2700 level ram? Another thing I'm confused about what the bus 266mhz of a 2100 or 333 of barton 2500 refers due. I know it doesn't refer to the motherboard bus speed so I'm assuming it has something to do with ram speed? Well in any case when one overclocks is it normal that this cpu bus speed go up as well or not? I'm not completely clear on this matter so if my guessing is way off the mark feel free to let me know. thanks

Well if you got the Palomino or T-bredA XP2100+ PC2700 RAM will do, but with the T-bredB core you can actually hit 200 MHz FSB.

As for the 266 and 333 thingies... they actually refer to the FSB speed in DDR: 133MHz FSB is 266 DDR and 166MHz FSB is 333 DDR.

And yes if you overclock a CPU through FSB increasing then this value goes up to, but if you use the multiplier then it will remaain the same.

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dims when I turn it on
