BF3 is a modern game that takes advantage of modern hardware. Unless the catagory you posted in "Handheld Gaming" denotes a different version than the standard PC version, the answer is no. You hardware is 2-4 years old, not medium/high 30+ FPS territory.

Now spend a few hunded on a new video card and things start to change.

Battlefield Specs:

Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3

OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
Graphics card memory: 512 MB
Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
Graphics card memory: 1 GB
Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

so you're higher than the minimum spec which to me indicates that you might be able to get 30fps at medium but you're not going to get HIGH quality.

As for your cards....

Looks like the 5750 just has the edge according to this.

Personally I think you're in need of an upgrade to be absolutely sure.

it'll run, happily, my GTX470 copes well, it was a level above the 57XX's i'm running med-high 55-60. so med-high 30's should be ok.

Of course you can. Don't let people who say otherwise fool you. You're well above the minimum game requirements.
