Can't access DLC for Mass Effect 2 through Cerberus Network in game

I just built a new gaming rig. Installed Steam, installed Mass Effect 2, started up just fine but when I try to log in to the Cerberus Network to activate the DLC my EA account name and password is not recognized. When I click "forgot password" a message pops up that says "reminder email sent succesfully" but I get no email from EA.

I've checked around some and can't find a solution. This stinks, I got ~$50 worth of DLC I can't play!

EA blows! Or is it Bioware's fault?

Any help would be appreciated.

Best solution

if your still having issues then you can try the e.a irc customer service line.
sign in to e.a store and click on help it should give a link to the irc channel. they will be able to help by finding all your accounts.
they should also be able to merge them into 1 account.
if you have multiple origin accounts then thats likely the issue.
but i was talking about my e.a accounts which i had b4 origin appeared.

Yeah, will have to contact EA support over the phone. I've been warned this is a drawn out process that takes several phone calls to resolve.

It's my new rig. They are seeing it at another user because all the hardware is different. Same thing happened with Steam but they send a verification code to you email so they know its you. Apparently EA doesn't have something similar.
