I would like advice I am going to get a Athlon 2800 and would like to overclock it a bit. Anyone have a Athlon 2800 that they've overclocked and could share with me what's a good heatsink and fan for doing so without making it too loud?

Have you heard anything about the Vantec Aeroflow? I've heard from some people that it's really good especially since it has a copper base and aluminum fins (copper absorbs heat better than aluminum but aluminum lets it go better than copper or so I've heard) or perhaps any of the alpha heatsinks? they have the same copper base and aluminum fin type design

i heard about the vantec aeroflow ya some good stuff and some bad stuff. like the fan ... it uses tdm (tip-magnetic driving). i heard that the fan stopped cus of failure with the tdm... and that the processor burnt up. but from others i heard that its quiet and cools good. i dont know much about the alpha heatsinks. but if u want the best ur best choice is thermalright SLK800U
