HI - I have bene having lots of problems with my Verizon phone. Dropped
calls, people can't hear me but I can here them, then last month this
happened - I got billed for an extra 500 minutes in the last 5 days of
the biling cycle. I normally use 1200 minutes a month and sometimes go
over an extra 100 minutes when I travel (as I did in Feb and March when
two uncles from PA died and I was on the road alot), but going over 100
minutes a day for the last 5 days of the month was crazy!
I hav been bringing my phone into Verizon to have them check it for
problems, but now they say they can't diagnose problems with the phone.
THey only want to swap out with a refurbed POS phone and can't tell me
if there is a problem with my phone that might cause these billing
problems.
Has anyone noticed similar billing/minute problems with their phones on
Verizon?

The only problem I had one time was that the system stopped flagging calls
as in network. But I caught it since I check my used minutes a couple time
a week and call them to alert them of the problem. Verizon had even
credited my account the day after the bill was created (which was $170 more
than usual). I can't imagine the problem I would have had if I hadn't
called them during the month.

The incompetent people they have working for them wouldn't dare touch an old
phone. They really want to force you to buy new shitty hardware that's over
priced and crippled.

Odd... lately the group has been filled with unhappy
campers that have been (understandably) let go from
various places.
