Voltage Creep?

Has Anyone experienced voltage creep when overclocking? This is what i mean:

I have a TbredA XP1700+ with a 8K3A+ and a big beefy 550W psu and a kickass MCX-462.

When i first started overclocking, i found the following two speeds to be 'moderately' stable, or at least stable with the basic stresstests like memtest, prime95 and toast:
1750Mhz @ 1.600v or 1833Mhz @ 1.700v

Then after more demanding stress testing, particular UT the original i found that the game kept bombing out after a few minutes unless i did
1750Mhz @ 1.650v or 1833Mhz @ 1.750v

So at those settings all seemed hunki-dory... and have been chugging away at 1833 for the past number of months. (cure for cancer 100% all the time)

Recently though ive been getting odd crashes, sometimes when i was nowhere near the system, and they seem to have progressivly got worse IMO.
1833Mhz @ 1.750v just doesnt seem stable anymore, usually crashing within a day... and to get stable operation at 1750Mhz needs 1.7v.

HMMMM
I wonder if the OC is hurting it at all?

Anyone else seen such behavior of creeping voltages?

i have had similar experiences too. sometimes the games i am playing just exit to windows. but i have never kept my system ON for more than 6 hrs at a time. Prime95 needs a solid voltage for the overclock to work fine while some other apps run perfectly fine.

If sometimes you feel little, useless, offended or depressed or get that loser feeling, always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm out of hundreds of millions...

I've heard the 1700+A isn't all that stable overclocking more than 1700mhz, I'm not 100% on that though.

All I know for sure is that the 1700+B is hella stable at almost any mhz :p

It's all good ^_^

well 1833 seems just slightly buggey, so im happy to use 1750 with less core voltge and alot less heat.

Now all i have to do is trouble shoot my new R9700 thats have issues.
