Okay, I would just like to get a general idea for how high people usually end up pushing their AMD processors before they need to up the core voltage. This is mostly just an interest thing, no real application for me but I do want to know if my processor is behaving normally for overclocking.

I run an XP-1800 T-bredB with a multiplier of 12 and the FSB currently at 150. To get above 147 fsb I had to up the V-core 5%.

Just because I like AMD or Intel more at a time because of one product compared to another, does not make me a fan boy, it makes me a person who is able to make a decision for myself.

I don't think you can get any conclusion out of this as upping the VCore is very core stepping dependent.

But: the better the corestepping for OC'ing the later you have to up the VCore.

For my XP1600+ AGOIA (which is a good OC stepping) after 350 MHz OC I had to up it 0.025V which is 1.4% increase, this is with default mulitplier and an FSB of 166 MHz. I didn't have time to OC it further atm.

My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole
