How long will the XP go on?

They have already anounced to kill the low end AMD line. 1700, 1800..etc...etc...

I think the 3200 and maybe a couple onward is the last of the line. It's now time for the hammer.

Well I think the XP3200 was the latest... maybe an XP3400+.

But the high-end CPUs will get replaced by the Athlon 64 in Septembre... but the old XP should be available for the low-end market for more then a year I think. But the speed will probably not be increased by much if increased at all.

So if I get lucky with my XP1700+, I will be able to keep up with the high end ones... I should hold out for another 2 years and then buy a downgraded AMD 64 and OC the PEEP out of it... (I'll do the "peeping" myself this time...   )

My XP1700+ and ABIT NF7-S rev 2.0 will arrive anytime now... Can't wait to BOOST it and test how well my older memory will do... (If the mem cant reach 200 FSB i'll replace it with Kingston HyperX i think...)

Is it just me or are the Dutch slowly taking over THGC???
