I'm planning on getting one of these to overclock as much as possible. I'll be using the Albatron PX865PE Pro board, which supports bus speeds of up to 1.2ghz. Would the 800FSB of the 2.6 help me overclock further? Or would the 2.8, because it is a 2.8, overclock to higher speeds?

Any constructive comments would be appreciated!

I think the 2.6C will overclock as far as the 2.8B, it's a newer core revision. In fact, it might go a bit farther.

Hi! I think its easier to overclock the 2.8 FSB 533 since here you "only" need PC2700 memory to overclock and its cheaper then the PC3200 memory you need for the fsb 800 BUT I still think you´d be better of with the 2.6 fbs 800 mainly due to the following 2 reasons:

1 The 2.6 has hyperthreading capability NO 533 fsb has this except the 3.06! Hyperthreading gives considerable speedadvantage.

2. The 800 fsb also gives a good speedadvantage and it can also be overclocked but only if you can afford those expensive memorymodules like corsair PC3500.
