Can windows 8 be uninstalled

Hello,
We downloaded Windows 8 from Microsoft's website as an upgrade from windows 7. Can we uninstall this version of Windows 8?

I assume you want to uninstall and go back to Windows 7 ?

You would have to reload 7 from scratch - you can't just uninstall an OS upgrade.
