  1. You can't tweak the config file for Assassins Creed 2, like you can do with AC1, sorry.

I tried this and it didn't work, believe me. You're being held down by your PC. It doesn't meet the minimum requirements to run the game.

  2. is there any configurator software or anything?
  3. No, I'm sorry there isn't anything that could help you run the game better. Try updating drivers. That's the least of an advice I could give you.

  6. Try a lower resolution.
  7. hey guyz, i can run at 20-30 fps and 10-20 (fraps). i got those settings low...heres my config file for those who need...
  8. just edit these settings.....

  9. So basically put everything on low/off and set resolution to 800x600.

Or 640x480 if he's monitor support it. Lower = more fps.
  11. It's not just your pc. I've played both AC2 and brotherhood at low settings on a dual core laptop without a discrete GPU. Brotherhood ran better than AC2. AC2 is not that well optimized for pc.

Everything is on the lowest, judging by his config file. AC2 didn't work at 640X480 resolution for me. It only reset the resolution to my native.

Maybe this will help you if the AC 1 & 2 tweaks are similar.

Try changing the config file properties to read only after changing the resolution to 640*480

That's for Assassins' Creed 1. The first game. Not the second. :)
